Description
Dr Natália Archinard holds the space portfolio at the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland. She leads the Swiss delegation to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) and served as Chair of COPUOS Scientific and Technical Subcommittee for the period 2020-2022. At national level, Ms Archinard contributes to the development and implementation of the Swiss space policy and the drafting of the first national space legislation. She obtained her MSc in Mathematics from the University of Geneva and her PhD in the same field from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich.
