By airplane
The nearest airport is Geneva Airport (GVA), with a direct train connection to Lausanne taking approximately 50 minutes. Zurich Airport (ZRH) is also well connected, with a travel time of around 2.5 hours by train. Up-to-date train schedules can be found online here.
By public transport
From Lausanne Main station
- Bus 1 direct route towards EPFL/Colladon, stop at the terminus (about 25 minutes). Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:40 p.m.
- Metro – via Le Flon (about 20 minutes)
M2 towards Croisettes, get off at stop Lausanne-Flon
M1 metro towards Renens gare : stop EPFL
From Renens train station
- Metro M1 towards Lausanne-Flon : stop EPFL (about 6 minutes)
From Morges train station
- Bus MBC 701, towards Lausanne Bourdonnette : stop Pré-Fleuri (about 15-20 minutes)
